Block mounting or art mounting is the process of fixing an image or canvas onto a wooden MDF board and is an affordable, stylish alternative to framing. Developing oments provides a custom block mounting service for images up to 1400mm x 900mmwith prices starting from under $25. With our specially formulated glue we can block mount most materials including pre-laminated, cardboard, glass and fabric. We use the finest quality materials and all blockmounts include:
- 42 micron laminate in gloss or satin gloss finishes (where suitable)
- 9mm "A" grade MDF board for a smooth uniform surface (less likely to damage than foam board)
- Choice of bevelled, straight or floating edges
- Black edges (additional colours available on request)
- Heavy duty hanging cord
- Shrink-wrapped for transport with protective cardboard corners.
